SoulSlinger: Envoy of Death (Demon’s Souls vibes Roguelite)

I recently got my hands on SoulSlinger: Envoy of Death, a first-person shooter roguelite that surprised me with its polish and potential. It sits comfortably between AA and AAA quality, with stunning visuals, moody environments, and some seriously cool cinematics that pull you right into its gritty, western-inspired world. The movement feels smooth overall, and while there are a few minor bugs here and there, they’re easily forgivable given how engaging the core gameplay is.

If you've played Abyssus—another solid multiplayer FPS roguelite—you might find SoulSlinger even more impressive. It shares some of the same addictive loop but brings a richer atmosphere to the table. What really stood out to me is how it channels a Demon’s Souls vibe, not in gameplay mechanics, but in tone. That same gothic, ominous undercurrent is present, just dressed in spurs and dust instead of plate armor and fire. If you're into roguelites, westerns, or just looking for something fresh with style and substance, give this one a shot—you might dig it as much as I did.
